The below listed level III sex offenders are NOT wanted by the Okanogan County Sheriff's Office. The information provided within this web page is intended to inform the community. Harassment or other unlawful acts directed towards any sex offender will not be tolerated.

The Sheriff's Office is releasing Level III Offender information pursuant to R.C.W. 4.24.550 and the Washington State Supreme Court Decision in State v. Ward, 123 WA 2d 488 (1994). Law enforcement agencies are authorized to inform the public of a sex offender's release from confinement, or change of residence, when such information will enhance public safety and protection.

What is a Risk Level?

One of three Risk levels is assigned to a Sex Offender based on the potential risk to re-offend. Past criminal history, conviction data and psychological behavioral evaluations are considered. Okanogan County currently has a total of 123 registered sex offenders.

Level I - Is considered a Low Risk to re-offend. 104 are registered.

Level II - Is considered a Moderate Risk to re-offend. 59 are registered.

Level III - Is considered a High Risk to re-offend. 18 are registered.
