Sheriff's Office Press release June 18, 2008

On 06/18/06 Jodi L. Raschka, 34, of Wenatchee, was arrested in Wenatchee by the members of the Okanogan County Sheriff's Office. Raschka was booked into the Okanogan County Jail on charges of felony harassment, cyberstalking and intimidating a judge.

On 04/11/08 Raschka sent an email, posing as someone else, to the Okanogan County District Court Clerks Office that was threatening in nature. Specifically Raschka threatened to kill judges and law enforcement.

The Okanogan County District Court Clerks Office notified the Okanogan County Sheriff's Office of the receipt of the email. At that point the email was evaluated and considered a valid threat and treated as such.

During the period of 04/11/08 and 04/14/08 Raschka sent a total of three emails, posing as someone else, to the Okanogan County District Court Clerks Office that were all threatening in nature.

Investigation determined that Jodi Raschka sent the three emails from public access computers in the Wenatchee area.

After being arrested Raschka admitted to sending the email because she was mad at her ex-boyfriend.
