Corrections Facility Facts

 
 
The current facility was built in 1984 and with upgrades in bed space now has  135 beds.
* 33 beds for maximum security.
* 102 beds for minimum security.
* 4 holding cells for booking and special circumstance watches.
 
The average daily population during 2002 was 137 inmates.
The highest population during 2002 was 164 inmates.
 
2,759 persons were booked into the facility during 2002.
2,758 persons were released.
 
The corrections facility's cook staff served 149,136 meals in 2002 and also contracts with Okanogan County Juvenile Detention, serving 16,962 meals.
